ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project is designed to enhance students' key competencies, empowering them to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. In this context, it aims to raise awareness about opportunities in entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, human rights, diversity, and inclusion.
It is essential for all citizens to be aware of global issues and the ways they can take action to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through our project, we aim to educate students to become active, responsible, and productive EU citizens who are not only informed about global challenges but also equipped with the skills, knowledge, and motivation to respond effectively and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' SDGs.
OBJECTIVES
Our main objective is to provide students with real-life skills that will benefit them personally,professionally,socially through entrepreneurial based project activities,and contribute to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4.4,4.5,4.7,4.A,4.C, 5.1, 5.C, 10.2, 10.3, 16.3,16.7, 16.10, 16.A, 8.3, 8.6).In this context,we aim the following objectives;
- To develop students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, communication, teamwork skills to contribute to increasing the number of people with entrepreneurial mindset and provide students with opportunities to apply these skills in real-life situations, ( SDG 4.7,4.4,4.A, 4.C, 8.3, 8.6);
- To contribute to decreasing the absenteeism and early school leaving rates by developing school motivation of students who are indifferent to school,tend to drop out,have fewer opportunities and experience low academic success and engaging them in school related activities ( SDG 4.5, 4.1, 4.3, 8.6);
- To promote an inclusive school climate and foster friendship networks among students at national and international levels, with the aim of creating a safer and more peaceful world by eliminating biases towards individuals who are different from them. (SDG 4.5, 4.7, 4.A, 4.C, 5.1, 5.C, 10.2, 10.3, 16.3,16.7, 16.10, 16.A)
-To develop students’ foreign language and ICT skills.
The outcomes will be;
A pop-up enterprise will be established and run during the project period.The precise nature of the enterprise will be determined by the partner groups.Regardless of its content, the enterprise will have a physical presence and an operational plan. Each partner school will function as a branch of the enterprise and perform activities within its scope.Students will
have the opportunity to put their ideas into practice in a real-life context,acquire essential entrepreneurial skills which will go beyond traditional classroom learning and make them aware of the practical relevance of the knowledge they learn at school.
Four LTTAs will be organized under the titles of Ideation,Business Planning,Marketing, and Financial management with the purpose of conducting interactive workshops covering various aspects of entrepreneurship and providing students with the opportunity to direct communication and cooperation with their peers from different countries.
An eTwinning will be created as a subproject.Its plan will be designed so as to support the objectives of the project.
An e-magazine and project website will cover all the project news and results.Students will have the opportunity to enhance their creativity and gain knowledge on how to promote a business online.
A project logo and posters covering catchy slogans will be created.
An e-book:Students will write articles about successful entrepreneurs whom they select as their role models. The articles will be compiled into an e-book to inspire students to develop their motivation and self-confidence.
